We were delighted to be invited to the UK launch of the Acer Iconia A1 Android tablet yesterday in London. It was great to see the new, sleek 7.9″ tablet demoed by Lucy Yang, Acer Product Manager from Switzerland. The below are photos taken from the event as well as the official press release. We’re told the Iconia A1 has already attracted plenty of interest from top retailers and hopefully we’ll be seeing it hit the shelves by the end of this month.

Porsche has revealed the images and specs of their upcoming 2014 911 Turbo and Turbo S, the new car is capable of 0-62mph in a searing 3.1 seconds. The Turbo will have on offer 520 bhp while the Turbo S will offer 40 more bhp. Both versions will have a 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six, mounted at the back of the car in traditional 911 fashion. Unfortunately, there will be no manual gearbox option, with Porsche electing to offer only the seven-speed PDK paddleshift automatic.
