Hi everyone, this is actually a scheduled post as I’m currently away this Easter holiday, nevertheless, we’re bringing you a fascinating piece of gadget for your daily gadget needs!
What we have here below is the concept called the “Wash Up”, it’s actually a verily ‘green’ concept and I really appreciate the thought that’s been put into this. Though some may say it’s rather disgusting, the concept basically involves having the washing machine stacked above and sort of connected to your toilet which is situated below it.
As we all know, no matter how much water you try to save, it’s difficult to adjust the washing machine so that it doesn’t waste away too much water that’s essentially clean. The concept of “Wash Up” takes advantage of this by preserving and storing away the water that would otherwise be drained away. This water is then reused for flushing whenever necessary! A very simple and obvious idea, but no one has come up with something like it until now.
As an added bonus the washing machine is situated higher off the ground, making it easier to load and unload clothing without having to crouch down. It also has the advantage of allowing people who live in smaller apartments to actually have room for a washing machine, since the space used by the toilet and washer overlap.
Men beware! DO NOT buy your wife one of these: Samsung Hauzen VC-RE70V vacuum robot, why? Because the Hauzen is an absolutely stunning robot especially built for the vacuuming needs of any household, leaving your average housewife with nothing left to do!
Here’s exactly why:
- It’s got a small built-in camera that captures a general picture of its surroundings and creates some kind of map, which it uses not only to clean more efficiently, but also to return to it’s charging dock.
- Once fully charged up again, it’s able to resume cleaning where it left off.
- This way it cleans much more cost-effectively than competitor vacuum robots like the iRobot Roomba (picture below), which just cleans continuously three to four times per cleaning cycle, after all these things cost money to run!
Here’s something that I thought I’d share just for the laugh. If you’ve got a friend who is an absolute no brainer leaving in our present day modern world, you might just manage to explain to him / her how computer technology actually works – in terms of a toilet of course…

Exmocare’s latest BT2 monitoring system is probably any nasty employer’s new best friend, why? Simply because the BT2 is designed to find out the physiological and I suppose also the emotional state of the person that’s wearing it’s wristband (see picture below). It’s a great tool for the working industry, because it’s probably a good indicator to see if your employee is someone who’s really able to cope with just physiologically or whether he’s just saying that he can on the other hand.
As you would imagine, the BT2 just leads to further loss of privacy for anyone that’s wearing these wristbands not that employers (like restaurant managers) give you much of it! But have a look at this, it’s a control panel type monitoring system for your employer to keep a good close eye of you, from the inside!

I just came across a very authentic geeky find, what it really reminds me of is Ultima Online, the online game which was based on the mid-eval renaissance period where players made and worn their own chainmails to battle against each other – funny!
This chainmail shirt is quite alike, it’s made from thousands of anodized aluminum rings, though it costs as much as $99, it probably gives you the genuine uncomfortable feeling of wearing a proper metal suit.
This idea is very strange and creepy but kind of funny, the Japanese designer Mayumi Hasegawa has decided to use the full skin of a Diamond Python (a commonly found, non-poisonous snake from Indonesia and Australia) to create a unique cover for your precious NDS. The picture below is quite creepy but I don’t think it will move like that for real, so don’t be deceived!
