Check out this funny pic, it’s John Hodgman, the actor who plays ‘PC’ in the highly successful ‘Get a Mac’ ads from Apple. Captured here, he’s not taking part in an ad, so he takes out his iPhone instead of what you would expect, a PC or at least something that runs Windows Mobile 
Come to the think of it, he advertises for Apple, so its probably not that surprising to see John using an iPhone after all, right?
A keen Mac fan decided to put his old Mac to good use for his cat, he equipped it with a ventilation system that’s triggered by a motion detector. Here’s the clever part, five minutes after the cat uses the ‘facility’, the fan switches on for fifteen minutes (as prompted by the Mac Mini home automation system that the litter box is connected to). That’s what I call geeky but genius! I wonder if the cat might just find the new loo a bit scary…
Just a few days ago, we were just chatting with Hojimoto about the cult of geeks nowadays and how difficult it is to explain to someone who has no idea about the many terms we use almost unconsciously in our daily language here at the blog.

Don’t you just hate it when get your laptop keyboard all greasy and oily while trying to type and eat at the same time, the best way is to avoid getting near your computer but this new concept might just render that unnecessary after all!
It may not be very comfortable to type on and it’s not the most environment friendly method neither but at least it will stop the crumbs from getting stuck underneath your laptop keys…

Made by Kotobukiya and shown off at the Star Wars Celebration in Japan a few weeks ago, these won’t necessary chop through any of the food on your plate but are certainly unique and a must have when considering geeky kitchen ware – this way geeks can be Jedi’s even at the dinner table!
While most will probably agree that Microsoft and Sony, more specifically XBox and Playstation don’t mix. In the ‘controller mod’ you can see below, everything from a big fat XBox 360 controller has been crammed and fitted into that of the much slimmer PS3 controller, the only thing that’s not available is the audio jack, but I still think this is pretty amazing – good work!

Not being rude or anything but I have a few friends who have been learning to use the chopsticks for sometime but just can’t seem to get ‘hold’ of it. Poor coordination, possibly? Is it something that can’t be perfected with practise? I don’t know about that, but the Tukaani, is definitely something that my mates will love, firstly to save them from further embarrassments and secondly to eat properly! It’s so simple and looks effective, hope it goes into production in the near future!
