MightyText is a service developed by former Google employee Maneesh Arora, and thanks to this service, you’ll never have to reach for your cell phone ever again. MightyText simply routes text messages and calls and it supposedly mirrors everything that is happening on your phone onto your Chrome browser on laptop or computer.
According to the latest research carried out in the last 14 days, the most dominant version of Android OS is Android 2.2.

Yet another Android tablet. Pioneer Computers Australia Company has introduced their Android 2.2 Froyo tablet known as the DreamBook PhonePad M7, quite a mouthful.
The Android tab is built on a Qualcomm processor with 1 GHz and is equipped with a 7-inch multitouch display with 800 x 600 pixels. The volume of the integrated memory and intelligence are the same, with 512 MB, supporting up to 32GB via MicroSD.
LG Thrill 4G is basically an AT&T branded LG Optimus 3D. It has a four-inch touch screen display and you can view 3D contents without wearing any 3D glasses. It works just like an Nintendo 3DS.
The LG Thrill 4G is powered by a dual-core 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 2.2 Froyo (it will get gingerbread soon). It boasts dual five megapixel cameras which allows you to view 3D content and record 3D video in 720p. The 3D effect can of course be turned off if you’d prefer staying 2D land.

Most mobile phone users would agree that a physical QWERTY keyboard on a smartphone can not compare with a virtual one. Samsung has found it necessary to offer an Android phone to those who need to write more.
Samsung has changed the operating system interface of Android 2.2 to fit the screen of 2.8″ horizontally for the new Galaxy Pro.
Since the iPad became successful from day one, there has been a rush of companies releasing their own tablets. Most of them have Android as their OS, as only Android can try to match and compete with iOS.
Google made Android 3.0 Honeycomb fully optimising it for perfect use in tablets like the Motorolla Xoom, while we don’t know when Google may be rolling out an update for smartphones. Here in the meantime is an unofficial Gingerbread update for the Samsung Galaxy S which has been offered by XDA developers.
This release does however come from a leaked Samsung source where it has been given the TouchWiz 3, Swype capability and GPS navigation support and a functional Android Market.
Currently, Samsung Galaxy S comes cruising with Android 2.2 Froyo out of the box and if you’ve been eager for an update, you should check out this DIY upgrade.
