It seems that Sony is still having its war against hackers and in order to fight against the hacking community Sony has released another Playstation 3 firmware update.
I’m sure that you’ve heard about the infamous PS3 firmware hack such as the PS Jailbreak, and that Sony had many troubles with it. It looks like that is set to continue and Sony will face more trouble with custom firmwares because there’s now a new technique that would let users crack the PS3’s loader.
The expected release of the iOS 4.2 has been delayed when it was set to release today. The update would work with the iPhone, iPod Touch, and the iPad. We don’t know when the update will be actually released now because of a serious fault with the iPad’s WiFi.
It surely is very annoying when you spend some precious time upgrading software for some of your gadgets and lately you find out that one of the best features in that gadget isn’t working. Well, the only option that you have is to downgrade your firmware to the older version which is again a boring task. Something similar has happened with Samsung Blu-ray player and reactions from its users aren’t pleasing. Samsung recently updated its 2009 BD – PX600 Blu-ray player with the version 2.09 firmware update to fix some of the known issues.
Unfortunately, the update has gone wrong with the blu-ray player, the result is that the player isn’t able to run movies from Warner Bros. and Universal! Yeah, you won’t be able to enjoy movies from two of your fav distributors if you upgrade your Samsung Blu-ray player.
