NASA hasselblad camera up for sale on eBay

On September 23, 2010, in Digital Cameras, by Salman

NASA is one organization which is not easily accessible to the general public due to the high level of work that happens under its roofs. Products like cheap 3D scanner and NASA R2 (the first human like robot in space) can only be virtually experienced on the Internet and access to them in reality for the general public is a distant dream. And, under such circumstances when you get to see a NASA hasselblad camera available on eBay for sale then things do look fishy at times even if they are super geniune.

Geeky DIY: Typewriter computer keyboard

On June 15, 2009, in Gadgets, Geeky, by KLS

Here’s something abit more radical to start you off with your week. Everytime we stumble over Instructables we find something great, this time we’ve found this geeky DIY which turned an old IBM electric typewriter into a fully working computer keyboard.

I certainly remember having one of these around the house when I was growing up but I never thought it would be of any more use since PCs came along. Maybe now is the time to get it out, instead of taking it down to the museum!

I have to agree with the creator of this genius project though, is it a typewriter that’s a computer keyboard? Or is it a computer keyboard that’s a typewriter? If you’re prepared to sacrifice your old antique then hit the jump and find out what you’ll need to setup this cool, geeky project.

It’s believed to be the world’s only pink iPhone 3G, it was just sold on ebay auction today for GBP 400. However, it’s uncertain whether it’s an OEM job or made to appear as if it’s OEM. This could be a good idea if Apple were to mass produce a wide range of colours for the iPhone, it will certainly attract more female users and possibly to boost sales.

The Nissan GTR has probably been one of the most talked about fast cars on auto magazines in the past months and even Top Gear has given a drive in their recent season. Now it’s available in American and up for bid too, but this isn’t just any GTR. This Titanium Nissan GTR is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.8L VR38DETT engine that generates 480hp and 434 ft-lb of torque. With this car being so rare (most of it is handmade you know, only 1000 produced in a month), no wonder eight bidders have already put their hands up since its eBay listing was put up, even though its starting price was a hefty $85,000 USD! You can also go for a Buy It Now at $109,000 USD too, just in case you were wondering!
