In my previous article “M-Audio Fast Track Ultra” I said I would talk to you about DAW’s or a Digital Audio Work Station. These are programs or software that you have to purchase to use on your computer. A Digital audio work station is a necessity for any home studio as it’s the program that records your music from your audio interface or mixer. Many won’t want to spend the money to get a recording program, so they will settle for Audacity which is a free windows program that records, this will work but it doesn’t offer anything else on it it is strictly an audio recorder.

Canon EOS 7D Studio Version DSLR

We haven’t seen any interesting digital cameras recently but luckily this new camera from Samsung should change that. Samsung has just introduced their latest model so let’s check out what this camera has to offer.

Latest model from Samsung is called ST80 and it comes with 14.2 megapixels. We have already seen Wi-Fi digital cameras from Samsung before so ST80 is no surprise. Samsung wanted their users to quickly and easily share their pictures with their friends even if they’re on the move and in order to provide that ST80 comes with Wi-Fi and Samsung’s AllShare (DNLA) connectivity.

First unveiled in March this year, the Samsung NX Series DSLR cameras recently got pictured up close by the AVING team at the IFA 2009. Samsung first announced that the first models would be available by the second half of this year and they are certainly on schedule with perfect timing. Samsung is calling the new NX Series hybrid digital cameras and by that they mean the NX Series will be able to offer the performance and image quality of a DSLR but the portability and convenience of a compact point-and-shoot.
