Surely Apple must be running out of big cat names soon. But in the meantime check out this latest hands-on video from CNET which demos the ninth major release of OS X, Mountain Lion. Though its just a developer preview, you can see that Mountain Lion will introduces great features inspired by iPad, re-imagined for the Mac.

Like turn by turn navigation, Google’s latest offer – Transit Navigation (in beta) brings GPS guided stop-by-stop directions to over 400 cities around the globe. Using your location along the route, Transit Navigation will alert you when its time to get off at your destination or to make a transfer.
Transit Navigation does require your Android device to be 2.1+, make sure you hit update to get your Google Maps for mobile up to the latest version before trying it out.

Its been leaked by an anonymous Apple Store manager that the new iPad 2s being used as displays for other in-store Apple products can be hacked to turn into “normal iPads” with a few gestures in a secret combination. Don’t take our word for it, here’s a video to proof it…
I have to admit I have never been an admirer of the PC giant Acer. Despite how ever long the company has been around, it was never a first choice for me for any type of device, however, I do see a massive potential for the Acer Stream.
