Check it out, the Lenovo IdeaCentre Q110 Nettop is finally available for purchase at Lenovo’s online store. Lenovo are well known for shaping things up with a nice, smooth, glossy touch, there’s no exception for their new mini PC here. For mini PC fans who care for the outside just as much as the inside, I would say the Q110 certainly has its charms over the likes of Acer’s Aspire Revo per say.
Priced at $399, the Q110 is an ION-based nettop which offers a decent combination of hardware specs including Intel Atom 230 1.6GHz CPU, a 2GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive and Windows Vista Home Premium 64 OS. Connectivity wise there are four USB 2.0, HDMI, Ethernet and a headphone jack. Continue reading »
Is this Apple’s so called iTablet (or just Apple Tablet?) which everyone’s been talking about? We’ve featured a rumor of the iTablet recently with some sound evidence that it could soon arrive but none have yet been caught on an actual video, so could the one in the clip below be in actual development right now?
Stealth Computers has launched their latest addition to the rugged portable computer line up. The NW-2000 (NW stands for Notebook Warrior by the way) is one special rugged laptop, not only has it been well equipped with plenty of protection but on board is actually a convertible tablet notebook with a resistive, 13.3-inch touchscreen display.
Running on Intel’s 1.06GHz Core 2 Duo CPU, the NW-2000 has 2GB of RAM (4GB maximum), a 160GB shock-mounted hard-drive (or optional SSD), WiFi a/g/n, Bluetooth, gigabit ethernet and GPS, optional HSDPA, a standard DVD burner, PC card slot and fingerprint scanner.
In terms of how tough this tablet laptop actually is, the NW-2000 has a spill-resistant keyboard and can cope with being dropped 91cm onto a wood-covered concrete surface 26 times in succession without suffering any impairments to its functionality.
A veteran analyst who claims to have seen Apple’s long rumored iTablet has stated that he expects the new device to be announced in September. He also suggests that it could ship as soon as November. Pricing wise, the iTablet’s price will be what you’d expect from Apple and will come in close to the high-end of $700-$800.
