If you hate iTunes and apps and just want a portable media player that simply does its job, then you’re reading the right review. The latest Sony Walkman PMP to be launched with OLED is the Sony NWZ-A845 and over the last week, we’ve been given an opportunity to have a play with the new skinny Walkman and see what its like.

Apple has given the MacBook a much needed upgrade to its specs. The processor jumps from 2.13GHz to 2.26 GHz, the HDD from 160GB to 250GB, while the 2GB of DDR2 RAM has been swapped for the same amount of slightly faster DDR3 memory. Visible changes include a new rubber bottom, glass multitouch trackpad, LED backlighting to go with its 13.3-inch display and a non-removable built-in seven hour battery which has already been seen on the MacBook Pro.
Since the UK Apple store has just re-opened, we can now report that the new pricing for the above MacBook will be £799 which isn’t bad at all considering all the new premium features you’ll be getting.

After receiving and trying out the newly released Sony Walkman S Series S544 portable media player for about a week, here’s a quick review of what we thought of it.

At the IFA 2009, Sony has unveiled their latest addition to the VAIO family. The VAIOX is a half-inch thin ultraportable laptop with an 11.1-inch screen, despite the lack of official full specs at the moment Sony has said that the VAIO X is set to further push the battery life limit amongst laptops.
With this in mind, the VAIO X is likely to pack an Atom processor but the price of this new lappie along with its well equipped luxurious body kit, it won’t surprise us too much should the pricetag be abit on the heavy side.
