We were fortunate to have been sent the Samsung Galaxy Note (GT-N7000) just before the Christmas holidays began and whilst we’ve been keeping our mouths full of mince pies, chocolate and mulled wine we’ve also taken some time to unbox and capture a quick gallery.
Is it a tablet or is it a smartphone? Difficult to say and we’ve seen mixed reviews regarding its 5.3″ front panel. While we continue to test out the Galaxy Note, here’s a quick summary of its key specs.

After HTC Flyer, the company is now out with yet another Android tablet, known as the HTC Puccini which will be shipping later this summer.
LG Optimus Pad is a new Andriod powered tablet with 3D technology. Although it has a lot of attractive features, the tablet is currently priced at £799 at The Carphone Warehouse. It’s two times more expensive then the new basic Apple iPad 2. Even the highest version of the Apple iPad 2 costs less then the LG Optimus Pad.
Since after the launch of Apple iPad 2, many companies has rolled out there own tablet but none proved to be as catchy as the gold standard iPad. This time, Sony has also joined the same race and has announced to launch two new Android 3.0 HoneyComb tablets by the end of 2011. Sony has named them Sony S1 and S2.
