When HTC, LG, Motorola are all running Android OS phones, why should Samsung stay behind and not follow suit? Samsung has announced the launch of its Galaxy S GT-I9000 smartphone which will be running Google Android.

Unfortunately, we didn’t do this review, but with a sparkling 3.2-inch AMOLED, five megapixel camera with flash, running on a 600 MHz CPU and Android 2.1 and of course all possible connectivities you can imagine, the HTC Legend has the potential to be an outstanding smartphone.
It sports a touchscreen rather than a full QWERTY and has pretty much the characteristics of its predecessor, the HTC Hero. However, compared to the Hero, almost every feature and hardware specification has received an upgrade, supposedly making it much less buggy than first generation HTC Android phones.
