Tomorrow is the Black Friday. Amazon will be offering up the last gen Kindle 2 as a lightning deal for $89.99, starting at 9:00 am PT on Friday morning. This is a really good deal from Amazon’s own Black Friday deal. Although it’s the last generation, it’s still a good Kindle uses the same e-ink tech as the current Nook.
Without making myself sound like a moron, every gadget comes an accessory gadget especially made to suit the needs of the particular device and in this case, the Amazon Kindle. Not quite yet ready for Mac but for PC users, you can now download Amazon’s Kindle PC software free of charge. Though the software is free, you will of course still need to pay in order to read Amazon Kindle books on your PC.
Just bought Kindle 2? I’m sorry, its just been a few months but Amazon has decided that a new Kindle with a larger 9.7 inch is to be launched. Amazon has finally announced their price tag for its latest black and white Kindle reading device – the Kindle DX, which will be priced at $489. Amazon is now taking pre-orders of the Kindle DX, shipping date has been said to be this coming summer, however, exact details remain vague.
The DX sports a larger, more comfortable 9.7-inch screen that can rotate to landscape display, its also a PDF reader (amongst a large number of other document formats that it is capable of reading). The Kindle DX also comes with more storage space at 3.3GB.

Amazon this week has released a free application that delivers Kindle book-reading to the iPhone (and iPod Touch of course), extending the company’s sales of e-books to devices beyond its Kindle e-book reader.
