Samsung Electronics is preparing to displays ‘Samsung Smart TV’ at the ‘World It Show 2011′ hold in COEX, Seoul from May 11 – 14. The Smart TV hub features easily search for movies, TV shows, browse the web, explore Samsung apps, chat with friends and find many other types of new interactive TV content.

News was that Toshiba was working hard on 3D TV and laptops that will display 3D without 3D glasses. We did not hear much from Toshiba or any other source since then but again it seems like related news has started to pour in. Toshiba seems to working on the unique idea of adjustable 3D display that will adjust itself as per the viewing angle of the viewer.

Toshiba has announced its glasses free 3D prototype which has been successfully displayed at Japan’s largest gadget expo, the CEATEC 2010. We have been hearing about rumours of the device for the last few months but nothing was official from the companies side. Suddenly Toshiba has come up with this new technology at the CEATEC 2010 and has surely gathered alot of attention from around the planet.

Earlier this week at the IFA, Sharp unveiled their first 3D LCD TV equipped with Quattron technology. The electronics manufacturer has unveiled the world’s first 3D TV which will include exclusive Sharp 4 colour pixel technology, the 60-inch tele will be codenamed: LE925E. Continue reading »

The idea behind viewing it in 2D is that it gives viewers the chance to imagine what the advert will look like in 3D.
