Though Apple’s latest iOS 4 application FaceTime still doesn’t work over 3G, it works great on an airplane’s in-flight WiFi as demonstrated by a reader of TUAW. This means quite possibly, that in the future should you need to make a call while you’re on a plane, you won’t need to worry about picking up heavy costs just because you wanted to make a quick call back home for a few minutes – that is if in-flight WiFi is relatively affordable…
