The next version of Mac OS X Lion will be launching this summer. We may see it available via the Mac App Store before being sold online or in store. By making the Mac OS X lion available though the App Store, those currently using the OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard will be much easier to update to the latest version of the OS.
Green Lantern is the next super-hero movie for this summer, due to hit the cinema on June 17. Yahoo Movies has just released the first full theatrical trailer, which seems awesome.
LG Optimus Pad is a new Andriod powered tablet with 3D technology. Although it has a lot of attractive features, the tablet is currently priced at £799 at The Carphone Warehouse. It’s two times more expensive then the new basic Apple iPad 2. Even the highest version of the Apple iPad 2 costs less then the LG Optimus Pad.
Apple has been launching new devices around June and July on a regular basis in recent years. However, there are increasing numbers of reports suggesting that the iPhone 5 may be released at Apple’s traditional September iPod-focused event instead. This is because the World Wide Developers’ Conference this year, to be held in June, Apple is focused on software, leaving observers believe that it’s unlikely to see a new iPhone. MacRumor reports that one of their readers got new confirmation from a AT&T customer representative that “there will be no iPhone in June/July”.
The Xbox version of Fable 3 has now been out since October 2010, the PC version is due to be released on May 17th 2011 finally. We are told that the PC version of Fable 3 will be worth the wait, as it will include a Hardcode mode and 3D functionality not found in the XBOX 360 version.
Apple announces it’s updated new 2011 iMac today, featuring next generation quad-core processors, up to three times faster graphics, high-speed Thunderbolt I/O technology and a FaceTime HD camera.
