Xiaomi MiKey adds another button to your Android device

Last year we wrote about device called Pressy that connects to your Android device and works like a button with a specific function. Today we have a similar device that comes from Xiaomi, so let’s see what it can do.

Xiaomi is famous for its smartphones, but this time Xiaomi has released a special accessory for your smartphone. MiKey is a tiny device that connects to your headphone jack, and it works like a button, and you can add all sorts of functionality to it. For example, you can set it to dial a specific number, launch an app or you can assign any other function to it. As you can see, MiKey works exactly the same as Pressy, but it’s a lot cheaper.

MiKey is currently priced at $0.79, while a single Pressy costs $27. We have to say that MiKey looks like a Pressy copy, and there might be some legal action against Xiaomi. As for availability, MiKey should be available for sale in China.
