Thunderbolt external hard drives tend to be rather big, but that’s not the case with latest external hard drive that comes from Western Digital. My Passport Pro is according to Western Digital world’s first portable Thunderbolt hard drive, and this hard drive is just a bit thicker compared to a regular external hard drive. In terms of storage there are two models available, 2TB and 4TB, and they are configured as RAID 0, but users can swap to RAID 1 if they desire so. Regarding the transfer speed, Western Digital claims that transfer speeds are set at 233MB/s, so you can use this device as a boot drive as well.
There’s no information how much will My Passport Pro cost, but we expect it to be a bit pricey.
