Sony has released all sorts of high-quality devices over the years, and today we have something little different that comes from Sony.

Digital Paper is 13.3-inch e-ink screen that allows users to read PDF documents and take notes using the stylus pen. In terms of hardware, this device comes with 13.3-inch screen with 1200×1600 resolution and 16 levels of grayscale, but sadly it doesn’t have backlight. On the bright side, due to the large screen you’ll be able to read documents easily and without scrolling or zooming. Digital Paper comes with 4GB of internal storage, but there’s also a microSD card slot if you need more storage space. This device supports Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n connectivity, and the built-in battery can last up to three weeks on a single charge.

Digital Paper is a light device, and it is thick as 30 sheets of stacked paper. Although this device sounds great, it only supports PDF documents. Regarding the availability, we should see Digital Paper available in US in May with a price set at $1,100.
