Neptune Pine smartwatch can replace your smartphone

On February 26, 2014, in Gadgets, by Mike Jefferson

Smarwatches are getting quite popular these days, and we already wrote about Neptune Pine a while ago, and if you’re a fan of this device you’ll be pleased to hear that it was presented to the public for the first time.

Early prototype of Neptune Pine was shown to the public, and what makes this device stand from other smartwatches is the fact that this smartwatch comes with Snapdragon S4 processor, and that it can actually work as a smartphone. As for the specs, this smartwatch comes with 2.4-inch display with 320 x 240 pixels resolution, a 5-megapixel main camera at the back and a microSIM slot. Regarding the software, this device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Neptune Pine sounds impressive, especially since it comes with microSIM card slot so you can use it to make calls or send text messages. Since this is an early prototype not much information is available, so there’s no sign of release date.
