We cover devices from Huawei from time to time, and if you are a fan of Huawei, you’ll be pleased to know that we have some new information regarding the Huawei Ascend D3.

According to the rumors, Huawei Ascend D3 should use 1.8GHz Kirin 920 octa-core chipset, but bear in mind that this is not “true” octa-core processor, instead it uses technology based on ARM’s big.LITTLE architecture that is used by Samsung’s Exynos 5 series of octa-core chipsets. As for other specs, rumor has it that we’ll see 5-inch Full HD display, a 16-megapixel rear camera and a metal back. As you can see, information about this device is scarce at the moment, but we expect to find out more soon.

Huawei Ascend D3 sounds great, and according to the rumors, we might see this device officially launched at this year’s MWC that will take place at the end of this month.
