Archos 101 XS 2: Latest Android 4.2 tablet from Archos

We cover news from Archos regularly, and it seems that this company is working on a new Android tablet, so let’s see what will it offer to its users.

Archos 101 XS 2 comes with 1.6 GHz quad-core Cortex-A9 processor and four Mali 400 MP4 GPU cores. There’s also a 10.1-inch IPS screen that uses 1280×800 pixel resolution, and the tablet itself comes with a keyboard cover. Regarding the memory, Archos 101 XS 2 is equipped with 2GB RAM, and there’s 16GB of internal storage space, but you can expand it up to 64GB using the microSD cards. We have to mention that there are two 2 megapixel cameras, one on the front for video calls and other one on the back for video recording or taking pictures. Additional features include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi direct, miniHDMI output, microUSB 2.0 port that you can use to connect other USB devices.

Archos 101 XS 2 comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, and as for the price, this tablet should cost $279 in the US and £250 in the UK.
