On November 26, 2013, in Tablets, by Mike Jefferson

Few months ago we covered Acer Iconia W3 tablet that runs on Windows 8, and today we have another 8-inch tablet from Acer.

Acer Iconia W4 is a successor to Iconia W3, and it comes with 8-inch IPS display that delivers better color reproduction and better viewing angles. According to Acer, this tablet uses “Zero Air Gap technology” meaning that there’s no air between the LCD and the panel so we should get improved readability and reduced reflection. Acer Iconia W4 got a hardware boost as well, and it comes with Intel’s 4th-generation Atom 1.8GHz processor, 5-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls. Regarding the storage, there will be two models available: 32GB and 64GB, but there’s also a microSD card slot for further expansion.

Acer Iconia W4 sounds promising, and as for the price, 32GB model is priced at $329.99 while the 64GB model costs $379.99.
