Last year we covered Archos GamePad Android console, and now almost a year after its release, we’re happy to inform you that Archos GamePad 2 is here.

Archos GamePad 2 comes with 7-inch 1,280×800 IPS display, and it’s powered by quad-core Mali 400 graphics processing unit, a 1.6GHz quad-core A9 processor and 2GB of RAM. Regarding the storage space, there will be two models available, 8GB and 16GB, but if that’s not enough, you can always expand your storage space via microSD card. Just like its predecessor, Archos GamePad 2 comes with built-in controls, and thanks to the company’s button mapping software you’ll be able to enjoy in your favorite game just like you would on a handheld console. Additional features include front facing camera and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

If you’re a gamer on Android, and you don’t feel like buying extra wireless controllers for your tablet, Archos GamePad 2 might be perfect for you. As for the price, this gaming tablet is priced at $250.
