PadFone Infinity works in a similar way as its predecessor, you have a smartphone than you can use independently, but you can connect it to a special dock that allows you to use it like a tablet. The smartphone itself comes with 5-inch 1920×1080 display, 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. Regarding the storage, there’s a choice between 16GB and 32GB of internal storage, but if that’s not enough, there’s a microSD card slot for expansion. There’s also a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for video calls, 13 megapixel rear camera, and 2400mAh battery. As for the dock, it comes with 10.1-inch 1920×1200 IPS display, and in order to use it, you just need to slide your smartphone into the dedicated slot and you’re good to go.
PadFone Infinity is designed for European and Asian markets, and you can get it for $640 in Taiwan, while the tablet dock is priced at $240.
