Folks from Panasonic have been working hard, and they have announced their latest camera in the UK, so let’s see what does the new model have to offer.
LUMIX DMC-LF1 is a lightweight and compact camera, and it comes with 12.1 Megapixel High Sensitivity MOS sensor and new 28mm-200mm 7.1x zoom F2.0 LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMICRON lens, so it can achieve high performance even in low-light conditions.
There are additional features such as Venus Engine that will enhance the performance and image quality, Panasonic Noise Reduction and Edge Smoothing systems that will minimize distortion and noise. As for the video, Panasonic LUMIX DMC-LF1 can record 1920×1080 50i Full HD video in AVCHD Progressive or MP4 format, with stereo sound. We have to mention that there’s an Intelligent Auto (iA) mode, P/A/S/M modes, and a Control Ring at the base of the lens that allows you to easily control aperture, shutter speed and zoom, with minimal movement.
Panasonic LUMIX DMC-LF1 comes with WiFi and NFC connectivity, so you can connect your NFC-enabled smartphone or tablet with a single tap. In addition, using the Panasonic’s Image app, you can use mobile devices as a remote controller to view, zoom, focus and shoot. In addition, there’s a WiFi Direct so you can stream images to DLNA-capable VIERA HDTVs. There’s also a GPS chip if you want to add geotags to images and videos.
Panasonic LUMIX DMC-LF1 comes with 3-inch LCD display and a 0.2-inch electronic viewfinder, and it uses SD/SDHC/SDXC card for storage, and it comes with HDMI output. Sadly, we have no information regarding the price or availability.
