Alcatel One Touch Fire with Firefox Mobile OS announced

Folks from Mozilla are working hard on Firefox OS, and speaking of which, Alcatel has announced its first mobile device that will run on Firefox Mobile OS.



Alcatel One Touch Fire is a low-end device, and it’s intended for those who want to give Firefox Mobile OS a test run. This device comes with 3.5-inch screen, 1GHz processor, a 3.2-megapixel rear-facing camera, 256MB of RAM and 512MB storage space. As you can see, Alcatel One Touch Fire is a low-end device, and it’s not designed for advanced users, so if you just want to try out Firefox Mobile OS, this phone might be just what you need.

According to the Mozilla, Alcatel One Touch Fire should be available in Brazil, Columbia, Hungary, Mexico, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia, Spain and Venezula, but it won’t be available in United States any time soon. As for release date, we expect to see Alcatel One Touch Fire available for sale later this summer.
