Smartphones can do a lot of things, and they can even be used to control all sorts of devices in our home, and speaking of which, today we have a gadget that will allow you to control devices that use AA batteries.

Tethercell is a Bluetooth-enabled adapter for your battery, and it allows you to control the device powered by that battery using a smartphone app. Using the dedicated app you can remotely turn off the battery-powered device, see the remaining battery power, or set a timer that will turn off your device automatically. We have to mention that if you’re using a device that requires two or more AA batteries, you’ll need only one Tethercell battery in order to remotely control it.

Tethercell can be useful, especially if you want to keep an eye on battery power of your devices, but so far, Tethercell is just a Indiegogo project, but you can preorder one by donating money to its funding.
