Share files around the world securely with Transporter

On December 26, 2012, in Gadgets, by Mike Jefferson

Sharing your files is rather simple with cloud services, and speaking of which, cloud services aren’t always safe, and they come with monthly fees, but today we have a device that might change the way how we share our files.

Transporter is a device that should give us a new way to share, access and protect files with other Transporter users around the world. In order to use Transporter, you just need to create a free account, add users to your sharing list, and any files that you have added will appear on other Transporter devices that are on your sharing list. In addition, developers of Transporter also stated that there won’t be file type or file size limitations.

Transporter sounds interesting, especially because there are no monthly fees or privacy concerns, but you’re limited to sharing only with other Transporter users. As for availability, Transporter is a Kickstarter project for now, but it won’t take long for it to become a reality.
