Cycling is always fun, but if you’re cycling, you’ll need a special equipment, such as helmet to keep you safe, and speaking of which, today we have a device that might make your cycling sessions a bit more safe.

ICEdot helmet will protect your head just like any ordinary helmet, but unlike standard helmets, this one will notify your emergency contact in case of emergency. This helmet pairs with your smartphone via Bluetooth, and in case of accident, ICEdot helmet will use your smartphone to send your GPS coordinates to your emergency contact. Of course, if you take minor fall and you’re not seriously injured, you can cancel the emergency call manually, since the dedicated app comes with a timer.

ICEdot helmet is designed by Sense Tech LLC, and according to the reports, we should see it in 2013 for $200, so if you’re into cycling and you want to protect yourself while cycling, this helmet might be perfect for you.
