There are all sorts of robots on the market, and if you’re fan of robots, today we have a robot that will keep you company while you’re jogging.

Floyd Mueller and Eberhard GrÃther from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) Australia have managed to create a robot called Joggobot that is based on AR. Drone. As we said before, Joggobot is designed as a jogging companion, and it will hover in front of you at pre-determent pace and keep you company while you’re jogging. In order for Joggobot to fly in front of the runner, it uses the special set of cameras that can determine the runner’s position. However, in order for this to work, runner has to wear a special multicolored shirt that Joggobot’s camera can recognize.

If you like jogging and you don’t have a companion, Joggobot might be perfect, however, there is no information regarding pricing or availability so far.
