Digital whiteboards are useful but expensive devices, and if you want a device that has similar functionality, but it is somewhat cheaper, today we have the perfect device for you.

Interphase has announced its latest device, a new interactive display system called Penveu. Penveu is a wireless stylus that allows you to interact with image on any flatscreen display or a projection on a wall. Using Penveu users can draw on the screen or on any flat surface, and they can even perform gestures that will display their notes on the screen or image projection. As for calibration, Penveu doesn’t require any manual calibration because it utilizes 12 accelerometers, and it can work from up to 40 feet distance. As for connection, Penveu connects to flatscreens and projectors using VGA connection and a special table-top box, but you can use Penveu even without the computer.
Penveu is one interesting device, and we should see three different models in July. The starting price of 8 GB education model will be $500, while the starting price of 8 GB and 16 GB enterprise models is $700 and $800 respectively.
