As you might know, Wii U controller should feature a touchscreen display, but according to the latest news, it seems that Nintendo’s competitors might use a similar concept for their controllers as well.

According to the Xbox World Magazine, it seems that new Xbox will come with augmented reality feature, directional sound, four-player support, and finger-tracking Kinect. In addition, Microsoft is currently experimenting with a new controller that could feature a touchscreen display. Thanks to this touchscreen display, you’ll be able to browse the Internet, control your TV remotely, get additional information about your current game, and even enjoy your game on a portable display.
So far, there hasn’t been an official confirmation regarding the new touchscreen controller, but we hope that these speculations are true. As for the release date of the new Xbox console, there hasn’t been any additional information, however, according to some sources, the new Xbox should cost about $628.
