If you are into music production, you must’ve heard about Sonoma GuitarJack 2, an accessory that lets you attach music instruments to your iOS device, and if you’re looking for another recording accessory for your iOS device, today we have the right thing for you.

Tascam has introduced its latest iOS accessory, iM2 stereo microphone that turns your iOS device into audio recorder. iM2 comes with stereo condenser microphones, and built-in analog to digital converter and microphone preamp for low noise recording.

In addition, switchable limiter prevents recording overload by attenuating high-level signals. As for the microphone, it has 125dB SPL maximum level of recording for loud sounds without distortion and changeable input level control. iM2 is powered by iOS device, and it also comes with a USB input that allows you  to recharge your iOS device via USB.

iM2 is compatible with iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch gen4, iPad and iPad 2, and it provides users with 44.1kHz/16-bit linear PCM CD-quality digital recording. Regarding the price, Tascam iM2 costs $79.
