Electric toothbrushes aren’t anything new, but just as other technology they have advanced as well, and now we have a first electric toothbrush that can be recharged via USB, from lightbulbs and toothbrush maker Philips.
Philips has just released a new electric toothbrush called Sonicare Diamond Clean that charges itself via USB and doesn’t rely on any AA or AAA batteries like other electric toothbrushes. This toothbrush comes with a special case that serves as a charging dock, so you can charge your toothbrush on a similar way you recharge your phone or any other device. Of course, if you don’t want to keep your Sonicare Diamond Clean case next to your computer, you can always use standard adapter with regular sockets, so you can recharge your toothbrush in your bathroom or in any other room.
Sonicare Diamond Clean from Philips might be one of a kind toothbrush, and the only flaw is its price. Currently, this electric toothbrush boasts a pricetag of £250, and we don’t think there will be a discount anytime soon.
