We mentioned the tutorial videos from Motorola themselves featuring the DROID 3 / Milestone 3 only last week and prior to that the internet have seen plenty of leaked shots but this latest set is probably the clearest of them all to date. Unfortunately, we can now clearly see that the Droid 3 is looking more or less identical in design to its not so successful predecessor DROID 2.
The good news though, Motorola have focused on giving the new DROID a decent spec boost. The DROID 3 should sport a 4-inch display with 960 x 540 qHD resolution, a dual-core processor, HDMI-out, and an 8-megapixel camera that’s presumably capable of recording HD video. Rumors have been suggesting a June launch via Verizon Wireless so we might see an official launch sometime soon?
