Its been a long time coming but Spotify, which I’m sure many of you already use has launched a new music download service that attempts to clarify itself as quite possibly the only music player you’ll ever need – hence offering a direct competition against Apple’s iTunes. With the new Spotify Music Store, users can now purchase and download full playlists comprised of any songs from the company’s 9 million-track catalog for as low as £0.50 per song.

Apple has been launching new devices around June and July on a regular basis in recent years. However, there are increasing numbers of reports suggesting that the iPhone 5 may be released at Apple’s traditional September iPod-focused event instead. This is because the World Wide Developers’ Conference this year, to be held in June, Apple is focused on software, leaving observers believe that it’s unlikely to see a new iPhone. MacRumor reports that one of their readers got new confirmation from a AT&T customer representative that “there will be no iPhone in June/July”.
