Rumor on Apple iPhone 5 never end. This time is on its design. According to Digitimes report, Apple may adopt a curved cover glass for iPhone 5. Similar to the new Samsung Nexus S, it uses a concave curved screen for improved comfort.

Although cover glass makers have not committed purchasing glass cutting equipment due to the high capital involved. According to the sources, Apple has purchased somewhere between 200 and 300 glass cutting machines for the production of these curved covers.

However, it is still uncertain what type of ‘curved glass screen’ the iPhone 5 will adapt. Apple has previously introduced curved screen for iPod nano. Also the new Samsung Nexus S concave curved screen claimed to provide better comfort than a flat screen.
