When Samsung released its Galaxy Tab last year, it was though to be the major competitor of Apple iPad. But now, after iPad 2 has been released, customers are unlikely to buy the Galaxy Tab which is still priced at the same rate. So Samsung has given it a new look, design & interface to its Galaxy Tab. They are planning to release Galaxy Tab 8.9 on the 22nd March in Samsung Mobile Unpacked 2011 event. Below is its teaser image that they have released.

This image gives an idea of the sleek design that the upcoming mid-sized Galaxy Tab 8.9 is supposed to have. For folks who think that the 7″ was too small, and 10.1″ is too big – then the 8.9″ tablet could be the perfect size. Although Samsung has not revealed the actual specs, it seems that  it’ll have a 3.5mm audio jack and a bumpy/rough surface for its back. It should provide a better grip.
