Geeky gadgets: DIY giant NES controller coffee table

On December 10, 2010, in Gaming, Geeky, by Mike Jefferson

You thought that the NES died in 1995? Well, you’re partially right, but there are communities of modders that are trying to keep this amazing console alive.

Today we have something really big from the modding community that all NES geeks are going to like. As you know, we already got a NES coffee table a while ago, but today we have a gigantic NES controller. That’s right, this controller is 10: 1 scale and it’s the replica of original NES controller. This giant controller can serve as coffee table as well, but unlike previous NES coffee table, this one has an actual working NES console inside it. In fact, you can use this giant controller to play your favorite NES games, if you still keep those old cartridges. Although playing might not feel the same like with standard small controller, it looks amazing.

As you can see, NES isn’t dead yet, and any old console can be turned into something big with a little effort.

Wow. I felt reminiscent for some reason. hahaha So.. with this controller, you need two players. one for the movement button and one will be using the A and B button. quick question. So this isn't spill proof right? It's going to look good in a video game room if ever i have one that's for sure :D
