Copy and paste coming to Windows Phone 7

On December 7, 2010, in Cell Phones, by Mike Jefferson

Windows Phone 7 is a great platform, but it has certain flaws, and one of those flaws is the lack of copy/paste function. This can be quite irritating at times but it seems that solution is on its way.

Rumor has it that the copy/past functionality was coming for Windows Phone 7 developers, and now these rumors have been confirmed. It seems that now you can simply highlight a text with your finger and a little copy icon will appear over the highlighted text. After pressing the copy icon, you can paste your selected text anywhere you like with a press of a single paste button. Rumors have it that this update is quite big and that it offer all sorts of additional features, but nothing has been shown yet besides copy/paste.

Copy/paste function is one of the most used functions when it comes to computers and cellphones, and addition of this feature will definitely make a Windows Phone 7 a better platform, but sadly, we don’t have more information about this update.
