Microsoft has launched the Windows Phone 7 big time. Almost after 8 months back the Windows Phone 7 operating system was made official and today almost 10 handsets have been made official that are all set to be launched in around 30 countries to make Windows Phone 7 reachable to all Microsoft fans.

HP and Palm have been trying their best to keep the lid tight on the next Palm device. No doubt we haven’t received any leaks of Palm Pre 2. Though initially it looked like a mistake when Palm Pre 2 surfaced on the website of French Carrier SFR but the page hasn’t yet been taken down even after hours which forces us to assume that the Palm Pre 2 is kind of official now.

This is just the beginning. Hold on to your seats as uncountable number of phones carrying Windows Phone 7 will be either leaked or announced unofficially in the near future. The point is that it will go viral even if people aren’t ready to switch. After all it is Microsoft and it is well aware of how to make things go viral.

Toshiba is all set to launch killer optical discs that will surely gather plenty of media attention. As of now Toshiba is working on optical discs that will have a whooping capacity of 1 TB. Toshiba confirms that the current working prototype has 16 layers (which is four times more than what a Blu-ray disc has) with each layer carrying 32 gigs on each of its size. This makes the total capacity 1024 gigs per disc.
