No need to run around for official words from T-Mobile regarding myTouch as the phone has been publicly announced by T-Mobile though no word on pricing and exact launch dates have been given out yet. The phone features 3.8 inches WVGA display with 5 MP caera and 720p video recording. myTouch comes loaded with MSM8255 Snapdragon core processor running at a speed of 1 GHz. Along with the heavily loaded 5 MP camera at the back the mobile has a secondary camera on its front too.

“Taking advantage of the 4G speeds on T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network, the new myTouch delivers a faster and more compelling experience than most competing smartphones on the market,” said Andrew Sherrard, vice president, product development, T-Mobile USA. “Our continued focus to build innovative new features and personalized services truly makes myTouch unique.”

The phone has the usual connectivity which you’d expect – WiFi and 3G, in addition to complete support for T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network with Android 2.2 OS and 802.11n wireless LAN. Unlike other video-calling solutions on the market that only work through WiFi, video chat on the new myTouch enables customers to connect with loved ones spontaneously from practically anywhere through T-Mobile’s network or WiFi.
