Toshiba Folio 100 tablet unveiled

The latest tablet from Toshiba is called Folio 100 and will be using Android OS 2.2. This tablet will provide 1024 x 600 pixel resolution via a 10.1-inch multitouch widescreen WSVGA display. As for other hardware specs, this model will use Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and come with 16 GB of internal storage space. However, if the internal 16 GB of storage space isn’t enough for you, you can easily expand your space to an additional 32 GB thanks to the SDHC card support. The Folio 100 tablet comes with a 1020mAh battery which Toshiba has claimed to provide enough power for seven hours.

As for networking, Toshiba Folio 100 supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, and 3G. Additional features include 1.3 megapixel camera, two stereo speakers, HDMI support, USB 2.0, and USB 2.0 mini standards.

Toshiba Folio 100 seems to boast powerful hardware specs in combination with Android OS 2.2. In addition, this tablet will use Opera Mobile and will have Adobe Flash support. Besides that, this tablet will come with feature an PDF reader and ebook app. So far, information about release date and pricing are not yet available.
