Samsung Galaxy S might be one of the hottest Android OS phones today but despite that, this great phone has its flaws. As you might remember, we saw bugs on this phone before related to the GPS but this time another bug has surfaced, more details to follow after the break.
Users have discovered a strange bug that occurs if you try to connect your Samsung Galaxy S to the PC. Luckily, this bug only occurs if you have files with 16-character extensions in your phone, causing the phone to crash when you try to connect it to your PC via USB cable.
When you connect your phone to the PC, everything works fine until the phone asks you on which way you want to connect to the PC. If you choose to connect using the Samsung Kies software your phone will start crashing as soon as you choose Samsung Kies from the list. Since the main cause of this bug are files that have 16-character extensions, the only way to prevent your phone from crashing is to delete those files from your phone and be careful while connecting to the PC.
As you can see, even a fantastic phone like the Samsung Galaxy S has its flaws, and although the deletion of your files isn’t the best solution, currently it’s the only one that works. We’re still waiting for Samsung’s response on this issue and we’re hoping that we’ll get an official solution soon.
