There was a time when electronic companies were releasing laptops like anything . Though laptops are still being manufactured in heavy quantities yet the day is not far when we will have over 10 companies releasing pads similar to iPad with various configurations. The market is booming and everyone wants to tap into it.

Though the public is still waiting for Windows based tablets customers have something else in store for them. MSI’s WindPad 100 is one such tablet that makes competition a lot more obvious. The prototype of MSI’s WindPad 100 was said to contain Computex. The same machine has now touched the final phases of manufacturing cycle.

Though nobody can guess the real configuration of MSI’s WindPad 100 yet one can be rest assured that it will carry a 1.66 GHz processor which should be Atom 530Z CPU. It will also have 32 GB SDD and 2 GB RAM.

The WindPad will carry Wind Touch UI overlay for amazing experience with HDMI plus 2x USB ports for external connections. The images that have been released show the MSI WindPad 100 as rested on a stand which gives the WindPad a lot sexier look.

The dock brings with it 2x USB 2.o ports, audio jacks for those who cannot live without music, LAN, VGA and HDMI. Though speculations are still being made regarding the prices yet it is being guess that it should cost your for $499 only.
