Gmail is immensely popular these days, with many users having more than one account. Many times it has happened that you need to use several different Gmail accounts at the same time and that was quite a problem but not anymore. In order to use two Gmail accounts at the same time you needed to use two browsers at the same time. This worked well, but was very inconvenient, now there’s a practical solution that comes from Google themselves.
Google has officially announced that users will be able to sign in with two different Gmail accounts from a single browser and easily switch between them with a single click. This is a great way for you to check your emails on two different email accounts but in order to use this interesting feature you’ll have to enable it first from your account settings. We’ll have to mention that multiple signins are currently supported on desktop browsers so far and you won’t be able to use this feature on your cellphone.
Although this is a great feature it doesn’t work with all of Google’s services. So far you can use multiple sign in with several services such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Reader and Google Code. Services such as Picasa and Blogger aren’t supported yet but we’re hoping that we’ll see support from them in near future.
