To this day, Microsoft Internet Explorer is still the most popular browser on the market and until recently this trend could be explained by the fact that it was the only browser one could choose to come with Windows. Not surprisingly, Microsoft wants to keep it that way therefore they’ve been working hard on the latest version of this browser. We’ve already seen what Internet Explorer 9 can do and from the recent news we find out that we might see Internet Explorer 9 beta soon enough.
Speaking of Internet Explorer 9 and its beta we’re expecting to see it this fall. According to the Kevin Turner, beta of Internet Explorer 9 is scheduled for September but we don’t know whether the beta will be available to the public or only to the developers.
Like we mentioned before Internet Explorer is still the most popular browser on the market and latest figures from June 30 Internet Explorer has shown that it still dominates 60% of the market. One thing remains a question, when will we see the final version of Internet Explorer 9? If Microsoft decides to mimic the development and release of previous Internet Explorer we might not see the final version until next year. Interesting thing is that we won’t see Internet Explorer 9 for Windows XP although Windows XP takes 68% of all Windows operating systems on the market, instead Internet Explorer 9 will be available only on Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 looks promising and we’re expecting that Microsoft will release open beta for the public this September. If everything goes well we’re guessing that we’ll see final version of Internet Explorer 9 in September 2011.
