Besides the amazing iPad we can’t say that we’ve seen any device that can be compared to it, but that isn’t stopping the manufacturers from making new devices. This time we’ve got a brand new Android tablet which comes from European manufacturer Interpad.

Interpad is a German device manufacturer and according to them they are working on the above pictured new 10-inch tablet. This 10-inch capacitive multitouch tablet from Interpad will feature Google Android 2.1. As for the hardware specs this tablet uses 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 T20 Cortex-A9 dual core chip and 1 GB of DDR 2 RAM. When it comes to storage space this device comes with 16GB built in flash storage. If 16 GB of storage space isn’t enough for your needs you can easily upgrade it thanks to the MicroSD card slot to 32 GB. When it comes to connectivity this tablet comes with single USB slot, 802.11b/g/ Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth 2.1, HDMI output and a headphone jack. Battery of this tablet has 3900 mAh that will be more than enough to provide you with eight to twelve working hours. This device measures 10″ x 6.5″ x 0.5″ and it weighs only 1.5 pounds.

The tablet will be available later this year with a price of 399 Euros. That’s about $518 and if you compare it, it’s even slightly more expensive than an iPad which costs around $499. So far its not known if this device will hit the markets outside Germany but we’re hoping to find more information about this device soon enough.

It's an interesting project of Interpad, but actually to compete with iPad it should be less expensive.
