We have seen several interesting devices for our iPhones and iPads but this time we’ve got something new. This time we have a portable scanner that works with the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. This can be regarded as an accessory, a rather unique one because not very often do you get such a luxury with other devices / phones.

Its called Doxie Portable Scanner and it will let you scan all sorts of documents even if you’re on the go. With the weight of 10.9 ounces Doxie Portable Scanner is a perfect device that will let you scan all the documents with ease. Interesting thing about this scanner is that it’s able to scan documents and send them to cloud, so this means that you can scan documents and send them directly to services such as Evernote, Google Docs and Picasa.

Besides that, Doxie has iBooks support so you can send your scanned document to any iOS device with ease. As for the scanning, Doxie Portable Scanner can scan in 24-bit color, grayscale (8-bit) and black and white modes with 600dpi resolution. Interesting thing is that scanning and sharing is performed by a single multi-action Heart Button. As for the supported formats, Doxie Portable Scanner can scan all of your documents in PDF, JPEG and PNG file format.

Doxie Portable Scanner is an interesting device and if you want to try it out you’ll need Windows XP/Vista/7, or Mac OS X 10.5 or later and free USB 2.0 port. Price of this device is $129.
